When I searched by keyword, the result was 6319 blog posts. Searching tags results in fewer blogs, only 624. Exploring the directory was interesting. Such a variety of information from so many people. I'm impressed if the blogs popping up every 5-7 seconds were new to each tag.
I read Away from the icebergs by Rich Anderson and To a temporary place in time by Wendy Schultz. The role of libraries and librarians have certainly changed a great deal since I started work for HCL 30 years ago. Books, plenty of books, was the main focus. Technology has changed the main focus from getting the information, sometimes dated, from books. It has opened up a world of endless information that is constantly being changed and updated. Librarians need to "go with the flow" to keep relevant.
